Saving emails, letters, and notices.

Recording dates, times, and witnesses to events.

~Many unlawful HOAs fail to properly document meetings or keep official minutes.

 

~We will show homeowners how to:

 

~Use their phone’s voice memo feature

Record HOA meetings when appropriate

~Preserve evidence when meetings are not properly documented

-Louisiana HOA laws

-Relevant federal laws affecting HOAs

-Fair Housing protections

-Elder abuse reporting resources

-Inspector General contact information

-HUD contact information

-FBI duty agent contact information for     reporting potential financial crimes

If verbal abuse, threats, or intimidation occur, we strongly suggest homeowner to:

-Call the local police department’s non-emergency number

-Request an officer to come out and create an official report

-An official report can become critical evidence if legal action becomes necessary.
